Institute for Civic Leadership Honors Wright Express CEO with Distinguished Alumni Award
SOUTH PORTLAND, MAINE (June 15, 2005) -Michael E. Dubyak, President and CEO of Wright Express Corporation (NYSE:WXS) has been named the 2005 recipient of the Institute for Civic Leadership's Distinguished Alumni Award in recognition of his support and fostering of effective collaborative leadership.
"Mike Dubyak has been instrumental in using a collaborative approach to develop a business that benefits the economic and civic health of our communities," said Ellen Grant, Executive Director of the Institute. "We're pleased to recognize his efforts in this way."
This is the first time that the Institute has given the award to a leader from the private sector. The award will be presented at the Institute's Annual Meeting Luncheon, on June 15 from noon to 1:30 at the Mariner's Church Banquet Center.
"I'm both humbled and honored to receive this award, " said Dubyak. "I strongly believe that Wright Express, as a new public company, will continue to take the initiative in addressing the needs of our communities. We look forward to continuing our work with community partners so that together we can generate new economic opportunities for the people of Maine."
