WEX Health Enhances and Improves User Experience with Latest Product Release

FARGO, N.D.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 1, 2018-- WEX Health, a WEX Company and an award-winning healthcare financial technology platform provider, introduces significant new features and functionality to its WEX Health Cloud platform through its October 2018 Release. The updates reflect WEX Health’s continued focus to engage, grow, and simplify the healthcare benefits administration process for consumers, employers, and its network of partners.

Engage
The October 2018 release expands upon WEX Health’s commitment to creating a personalized and highly targeted experience for consumers. In addition to the updated look and feel of the Consumer Portal, virtually all home page components are customizable through the personalization engine. This allows partners and employers to provide the right messages to the right consumers at the right time, ultimately helping consumers maximize their healthcare benefits. For example, a consumer with a health savings account (HSA) could make his/her healthcare dollars go further or maximize saving for retirement based on suggestions delivered via customizable messages. These latest enhancements allow partners to offer a truly customized experience for each consumer based on more than 25 different criteria.

Grow
As balances in HSAs continue to grow, investment capabilities are becoming increasingly important to both employers and partners in meeting the financial goals of consumers. With the October Release, the investment capabilities in WEX Health Cloud take a major step forward by providing greater flexibility for consumers to move dollars to and from their accounts. This includes the ability to direct contributions and liquidations from a particular fund as well as the ability to continue leveraging the solution’s automated sweep capabilities. The new investment portal also provides tailored educational content as well as an investment guidance wizard for HSA investors. In addition to the new investment capabilities, consumers can now view statements and notifications and provide identity verification documentation through the WEX Health Cloud Mobile App to make the process of opening an account even easier.

Simplify
More than 20 new metrics have been added to the Administrator Dashboard to provide partners important insights into their business and how it compares to the broader WEX Health ecosystem. Smartview reports can now be scheduled and delivered to the Administrator Portal, Employer Portal, or an OnDemand Consumer Notifications distribution list rather than manually running the reports each time. Also, to provide additional insight and a more expansive data view, the detail level of the Administrator Dashboard now supplies historical, scenario-based chart content with more variables by introducing the ability to filter by plan type and by date range.
