Wright Express Launches New Bulk Fuel Program

SOUTH PORTLAND, MAINE (April 16, 2003) - Wright Express has launched a new bulk fuel program to help customers save time and money through increased purchasing power and greater access to bulk fuel buying expertise.

Wright Express Bulk Fuel Management provides customers with streamlined invoicing, improved fuel use tracking, electronic entry of invoices and detailed reports.

Essentially, Bulk Fuel Management brings to the bulk fuel world the same efficiencies, options and value that Wright Express pioneered to transform the retail fleet management world.

The new program is part of Wright Express Total Fuel Management Solutions. The program can improve accountability through increased data collection, electronic reporting, inventory management, net of tax billing and private site transaction integration. Electronic reporting is a key feature that eliminates the need to manually enter invoices.

"By solving issues and streamlining processes, the new bulk management program makes the fleet manager's job easier and saves them money," said Michael Dubyak, president and chief executive officer of Wright Express. "By taking the advantages Wright Express already offers on its retail fuel card purchasing, such as electronic reporting, data capture and fleet industry expertise, and combining them with powerful new alliances, Wright Express can now provide its superior services to fleet managers for their bulk fuel purchasing. We are confident we have created a powerful comprehensive service to the fleet industry."

The bulk fuel program is also available through the new Wright Express Heavy Truck Division, which the company launched in March to boost its presence in the heavy truck market.

South Portland-based Wright Express is the leading provider of fleet charge cards to the fleet maintenance and fueling industry with its cards accepted at more than 160,000 locations. Wright Express also provides information management, payment processing, and financial services to fleets through card partnerships with oil companies and fleet management companies. Through its own universal fleet card program, its partners' card programs and its MasterCard program, Wright Express has nearly four million commercial cards in its markets. Wright Express LLC, a subsidiary of Cendant Corp., employs more than 640 people at its headquarters in South Portland, Maine and its subsidiary in Salt Lake City, Utah.
