Wright Express Receives 2004 Gold President's Service Award
SOUTH PORTLAND, MAINE (March 31, 2005) - Wright Express Corporation (NYSE:WXS) and its employees received the Gold President's Volunteer Service Award in recognition of the more than 2200 hours of community service they completed in 2004.
The President's Council on Service and Civic Participation created the President's Volunteer Service Award as a way to recognize outstanding volunteer service and to encourage even more Americans to get involved. Recognizing and honoring volunteers helps set a standard for service to other and encourages a sustained commitment to civic participation.
The President's Volunteer Service Award is an initiative of the President's Council on Service and Civic Participation in conjunction with the Corporation for National and Community Service and the USA Freedom Corps and is administered by the Points of Light Foundation & Volunteer Center National Network.
