Wright Express Service Network Expands Service Options for Fleets
SOUTH PORTLAND, MAINE (September 4, 2003) — Wright Express has launched the new Wright Express Service Network, a move that dramatically increases the number of locations and the range of automotive maintenance and repair services available to its Universal Card fleet customers.
As part of the launch, Wright Express gained acceptance with several nationwide service providers including Sears, NTB and Goodyear, effectively adding thousands of automotive service locations to the list of those who accept the Wright Express Universal Card for payment. The company plans to continue aggressively adding service providers to the network.
“We believe the Wright Express Service Network represents a dramatic step forward in our efforts to make it easy for our fleets to find and pay for automotive services and also in our attempts to develop a comprehensive one-card program that makes it easy for fleet managers to manage all variable costs,” said Michael Dubyak, president of Wright Express. “Once again Wright Express is setting the standard in the industry.”
With the new service network program, Wright Express is committed to bringing the same leadership it has established with purchases at fueling locations to purchases at service and maintenance vendors, providing fleets with unmatched acceptance and choice for all their maintenance and repairs.
With the rapidly increasing number of accepting locations, the Wright Express Universal Card now offers a true, one-card solution that provides fleets an easy way to manage both fuel and service while saving time and money. By using the Wright Express Universal Fleet Card for all automotive service needs, obtaining services and tracking related expenses will be just as easy as purchasing and tracking fuel. One card can handle all purchases and all reporting will be in one place.
South Portland-based Wright Express is the leading provider of fleet charge cards to the fleet maintenance and fueling industry with its cards accepted at more than 160,000 locations. Wright Express also provides information management, payment processing, and financial services to fleets through card alliances with oil companies and fleet management companies. Through its own universal card program, its alliance card programs and its MasterCard program, Wright Express has over four million commercial cards in its markets. Wright Express LLC, a subsidiary of Cendant Corp., employs more than 640 people at its headquarters in South Portland, Maine and its subsidiary in Salt Lake City.
